Does anyone know what happened?

I think the site went offline. Not sure though.

For 3 days.
During this I managed to contact one of the staff members and was told:

That certainly didn't improve my mood...

So, I'm joining the OP:
What happened?

That was me. I'm only in contact with the others via this site. If it's down I'm cut off of information, too.

The site was down because our paypal account was frozen and we didnt have anyway to pay for hosting, luckily we managed to get it sorted out. iFlac will explain better as soon as he gets the chance.

When we go down its mostly because of hosting issues.
We wouldn't go down forever and not tell one person.
Remember that's why we have a facebook and twitter and even a lastfm group. (bookmark it or if your do bookmarks, google flacshare and you WILL find it on the first page) We have these because most people have at least one and its purpose is for when this happens. We will post an announcement there when we get a chance.
Trust me we don't go down because we want to piss you guys off. We like what site we have here and aren't going anywhere.
Lastly: I believe no one deserves some sort of detailed explanation of why we were down for the few days. (besides LaughingMan since he is staff) Tac0 pretty much summed it up for everyone and no more should be said.
Just be patient for next time, we will come back. Sites go down all the time all the time without any warning. (ex: Demonoid)
