i HATE not sharing. I feel like a leech! but my problem is that people like tac0 upload things so much faster than i do making it very hard to upload anything without being a report! is there anything else i can do to help contribute to FLACShare? :(

just keep your head up, sure it take along time but you don't need to post till you've got the links (i save mine in text files) cos it takes so long. if you wish to help filling ppl requests. i tend to do that if i feel i anit contributing enough. just search the internet. i also like to help the n00bs, give a polite nudge on post formats.

there are plenty of artists that are not even on Flac share yet...here are some ways you can prolly conrtribute to downloads.
- find some CDs laying around your house and rip them to flac
- find some CDs laying around your friends/family house and borrow them to rip
- go to a cd/record shop, sometimes they have bargin bins where u can get cds for like $1 or 2.
- same goes for flea markets / yard sells. (i do this)
- or find other sites on the net who are trust worthy to take their download and re-up for here.

yeh thanx to CeX in the uk i get tons of cd's @ £1-£2/$.60-$1.20 now my cd collection has grown 20 fold. plus i don't know if they do it in other countries, but i have a local library that loan out cd's for 80p/$.50 all fresh from the new releases lists. you'll get there eventually

the reason i upload CDs so fast is because i get them from private music trackers and download them to a seed server and rar them there, because if i didnt do this i would upload very slow form my home connection (25kB/s upload) but i occasionally do uplaod a CD or two from my house

so dont feel bad! lol

Seed servers are the way to go - get a little consortium together who can share payment for the server and you can get:-
1) An external place to store stuff
2) A place to host a website
3) A place to Torrent at high speed
4) A place to maintain great ratios on trackers
5) An additional box to muck around with
6) A reliable & trustworthy proxy server that you can encrypt traffic end-to-end with
I personally pay £8 a month for mine, in addition to two others
